Known Issues

Wi-Fi LED is always off, and Wi-Fi interfaces in the web UI show as down or disconnected even when active. This will be fixed in an upcoming release. [LCG-1344]

For traffic from ETH, firewall rule "Allow incoming IPv6 traffic to Wi-SUN from trusted networks" is overriden by "Allow all outgoing traffic" because ETH is in the internal zone. [WSBR-248]

If IPv6 prefix delegation and Wi-SUN is enabled but there is no DHCPv6-PD server available the Wi-SUN Border Router application will not run. [WSBR-356]

Cellular Modem Firmware selection through the Web UI can show firmware options not applicable to the product. [LCG-1306]

Upgrade to latest modem firmware option in the Web UI does not properly update the modem firmware. [LCG-1307]

Digi recommends Digi Remote Manager for automated device updates. For more information, see the Digi Remote Manager User Guide.
If you prefer manually updating one device at a time, follow these steps:

Log into the Web UI.

Navigate to the System > Firmware Update page.

Click on the Download from Server tab.

Select the appropriate firmware version.

Click UPDATE FIRMWARE.

The device will automatically reboot once the firmware update is complete.

Change Log
Mandatory release = A firmware release with a critical or high security fix rated by CVSS score. For devices complying with ERC/CIP and PCIDSS, their guidance states that updates are to be deployed onto device within 30 days of release
Recommended release = A firmware release with medium or lower security fixes, or no security fixes Note that while Digi categorizes firmware releases as mandatory or recommended, the decision if and when to apply the firmware update must be made by the customer after appropriate review and validation.
