The Wi-SUN Border Router LEDs are located on the top of the device.

Power LED

During Boot

  • Solid red: Initial power-on state, error during boot, powering off, or after shutdown.

  • Solid blue: Booting in progress.

  • Solid green: Boot has completed.

After boot

  • Solid green: Normal operation.

  • Solid red: A fatal error occurred.

User LED

The User LED behavior is defined by the user’s application.

XBee LED

  • Off: XBee interface is disabled.

  • Solid red: Error creating the network

  • Blinking green: The network is being created.

  • Solid green: XBee Wi-SUN interface and service running.

  • Blinking between green and cyan: Indicates traffic is going across the network.

Wi-Fi LED

With Access Point (AP) enabled

  • Solid amber: AP is active.

  • Solid blue: AP active, client connected.

  • Flashing green/amber: AP active, client searching for a network.

  • Solid red: Radio error.

With AP disabled

  • Off: Wi-Fi is disabled.

  • Flashing green: Client searching for a network.

  • Solid green: Client connected to a network.

  • Solid red: Radio error.

WWAN LEDs

Network LED

  • Off: Cellular is disabled.

  • Red: Network registration denied.

  • Solid blue: SIM missing.

  • Blinking blue: Searching for a network.

  • Blinking green: Registered with no internet.

  • Solid green: Connected to the network.

Ethernet (RJ45 Plug)

Left LED (on top of port connector)

  • Off: No Ethernet link detected.

  • Blinking amber: Indicates Ethernet traffic.

Right LED (on top of port connector)

  • Off: No Ethernet link detected.

  • Solid green: 10/100 Mbps link detected.
