Before you can manage an XBee Hive for Wi-SUN from the cloud, you must register it in Remote Manager. Registration associates the device with your account and makes it visible in the Devices list. From there, you can manage it remotely through operations such as configuration, firmware updates, and automations.
Before registering, make sure that remote management is enabled on the XBee Hive for Wi-SUN. When enabled, the device connects to Remote Manager automatically whenever it has internet access.
| XBee for Wi-SUN nodes cannot be registered manually. Instead, they connect through an XBee Hive for Wi-SUN, which registers them automatically once Bridge mode is enabled. See Configure remote management for XBee nodes. |
