Regarding the network, there are also some minor differences between XCTU and XBee Studio. While XCTU has a separate working mode for the network, XBee Studio integrates it within the device actions. As in XCTU, there are also two visualization modes: graphic and table, with several improvements in both of them.

XCTU XBee Studio

  1. Add or discover your device.

  2. Click the Network working mode button.

  3. Click the Scan button.

  1. Wait until XBee Studio discovers your device.

  2. Open the Network Topology view — choose one of the following:

    • Click the blue network icon connected to your device.

    • Click on your device and then click Network Topology in the left menu.

    • Click Network in the sidebar, then click Visualize Network, and finally click on your device.
