To remove an existing component from the design:

Select the Configuration view of the design.

Select the component to remove in the Components tree.
If the component to remove has any dependent component in the design, you must remove the dependent components first. -
Click the Remove button next to the Components tree. The component is removed from the design and its pads can be used by other components.
| Removing a component cannot be undone. If you accidentally remove a component, you must add it as a new component and configure it manually. |
