The Digi XBee Mobile application includes an options menu that can be accessed at any time by clicking the Options button located at the top-right corner of the application. This button opens a menu with the following options:

  • Application preferences: Opens the Application preferences page to configure some Digi XBee Mobile settings. Configure the Digi XBee Mobile application for more information.

  • Clear stored passwords: Removes the passwords saved for the connection process of each device. Only available when in the Devices List page.

  • Check for firmware updates: Checks and downloads non-official radio firmware definitions from the specified FTP. If the additional FTP site setting is not enabled in the preferences, this element will be disabled as well. See Download non-official XBee firmware definition files for more information. Only available when in the Devices List page.

  • Read all category settings: Reads all the settings located in the configuration category and subcategories associated to the current settings page. Only available when in a Settings page.

  • Write all category settings: Writes all the settings that have been modified from the configuration category and subcategories associated to the current settings page. Only available when in a Settings page.

  • Load default category settings: Loads the default values of all the settings located in the configuration category and subcategories associated to the current settings page. Only available when in a Settings page.

  • Reset device: Resets the XBee device and restores the Bluetooth connection with it. See Reset the device for more information. Only available when connected with an XBee device.

    The Bluetooth connection will be lost when resetting the device.

  • Disconnect: Closes the connection with the XBee device. Only available when connected with an XBee device.

  • Documentation: Opens the documentation URL of the application in the device’s default web browser.

  • Provide feedback: Opens the feedback form to provide feedback about the application. See Provide feedback for more information.

  • About: Opens the application’s About page. See Get application information for more information.
