Step 1 - Requirements | ConnectCore 8M Nano

To start working with the ConnectCore 8M Nano module and Digi Embedded Yocto, you need the following items:

Verify that your ConnectCore 8M Nano Development Kit contains the following components:

1	microAB USB cable
1	Whip antenna, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz

A 64-bit Linux machine for application development and system customization, with at least:

100 GB of free disk space

For successful Digi Embedded Yocto projects, we recommend you use a Yocto Project-supported Ubuntu distribution. You can find Yocto Project-supported distributions in the Yocto Project system requirements at https://www.yoctoproject.org/docs/3.0/ref-manual/ref-manual.html#intro-requirements.

Additional components not included in the kit:
- Ethernet cable (optional)
- HDMI monitor and cable (optional)
- FAT-formatted microSD card
