Update the firmware from Remote Manager

You can use Remote Manager to update Connect Tank firmware.

Note Before you begin, you should determine whether you want to apply the standard firmware or the continuous monitoring firmware. Refer to the Firmware options section for more information.

When using Remote Manager to update the firmware, you must first download the firmware onto your computer. Then you can access Remote Manager and schedule an offline firmware update. The next time the Connect Sensor wakes up and connects to Remote Manager, the firmware automatically updates.

You can use this method whether or not you have physical access to the device.

No physical access to the device

The firmware updates automatically the next time the Connect Sensor wakes up and connects to Remote Manager.

If you can physically access the device, you can choose to manually wake the device with a magnet or by pushing the Wake button on the device. The firmware is updated when the device wakes and connects to Remote Manager. See Wake Connect Tank for more information.
