Switch the SIM card used for cellular network connection
Note This feature can be used only if you have inserted a Digi CORE module into the Connect EZ 4/4i.
The Digi CORE module includes two SIM slots, which enables you to insert two activated SIM cards. Only one SIM card is needed for a cellular network connection. If desired, you can insert a second SIM card.
-
SIM 1: When only one is used, the SIM card should be inserted into the SIM 1 slot.
-
SIM 2: Insert a second activated SIM card into the SIM 2 slot. This SIM card can be used for redundancy or an alternate wireless carrier.
When two activated SIM cards are inserted into the CORE module, you can use the SIM switch button on the Connect EZ 4/4i hardware to toggle between the SIM cards and change the SIM that is used to connect to the cellular network.
