Internal fans overview: AnywhereUSB 24 Plus

The AnywhereUSB 24 Plus has four internal fans:

• Two system fans that cool the CPU.

• One fan in each power supply unit (PSU); maximum of two PSU fans.

CPU fans

Each Hub has two system fans that cool the CPU. These fans work independently of each other, and one is not dominant over the other. Both CPU fans run when one or both of the PSUs are used to power the Hub.

The FAN1 and FAN2 LEDs on the front of the Hub show the status of the CPU fans.

• Solid green: The fan is running within normal range of use.

• Solid red: The fan has slowed down or the Hub is overheating.

Power supply units (PSU) fans

Each power supply unit (PSU) in the Hub includes a fan that cools the PSU. The fan in a PSU runs only when the PSU is powered.
