Step 2: Activate the SIM card

Connect Tank has a SIM card inserted in the device by default. To use a cellular connection, you must activate the inserted SIM card. You can skip this step if you have a pre-activated SIM card.

1. Note the Connect Tank IMEI number. The IMEI number is on the label on the device and on the box the device was shipped in.
2. Activate the SIM card.

   1. Navigate to store.digi.com for e-commerce-based ordering of data plans.

   2. Email the list of Connect Sensor IMEI numbers to Data.plan.quotedesk@digi.com to activate the SIM(s).
