Disable a template

Disable an active template when you do not want it to scan and/or remediate the devices in the group to which it is associated. You may do this when you need to update its configuration, you are testing a new template, or you have another template that supersedes it but you want to save it as an historical record of a past configuration. You can still see the template in the Templates list.

  1. Click Templates.

  2. In the list, click the Enabled toggle to turn off the template you want to disable.

The template is no longer active.

You can enable the template at any time.
