Configure enhanced location tracking

Enhanced location tracking is used to monitor the real-time and historical geolocation of a cellular router based on its cellular signal metrics.

Required configuration items

To track the real-time and historical geolocation of your cellular router:

  Web

  1. Log into Digi Remote Manager, or log into the local Web UI as a user with full Admin access rights.

    To access the device configuration:

  2. Click Monitoring > Enhanced Location Services.

  3. Click Enable to use this feature.

  4. (Optional) In Interval, select the frequency at which data is sent from the cellular router to Digi Remote Manager. The default is 60 seconds.

  Command line

  1. Access the device from Digi Remote Manager or from the local web UI.

  1. To enable the enhanced location tracking feature:

    (config monitoring enhanced_location_services)> enable true
  2. (Optional) To change the frequency at which data is sent from the cellular router to Digi Remote Manager:

    (config monitoring enhanced_location_services)> interval [value]

    with [value] being the frequency in seconds data is sent.
