Register the SIM card in a Digi device

This process explains how to register a Digi-supplied SIM card that is inserted into a Digi device.

Note You can also register a Digi-supplied SIM card that is inserted into a third-party device. See Register an external device and a Digi SIM card.

To register a SIM card that is inserted into a Digi device:

1. Log into Digi Axess.
2. Click the Cellular icon on the toolbar on the left side of the dashboard to display the Cellular Overview page.
3. Click Register SIM Card.

   

4. The Register SIM Card panel displays. In this pane you can register a SIM card that is inserted into a Digi device. Entries in both fields are required.
   • ICCID: Enter the SIM card's ICCID number.
   • Device Group: Enter the name of the device group to which this SIM card should be assigned. If you leave the field blank, the default device group associated with your user name is used.
5. Click Register SIM Card. A "success" message displays and the panel is closed. The Cellular Overview page is updated. You can also click Refresh Data to refresh the screen.
