Log in to the command line interface

 Command line

Connect to the EX12-PR device by using a serial connection, SSH, or the Terminal in the WebUI or the Console in the Digi Remote Manager. See Access the command line interface for more information.

For serial connections, the default configuration is:
- 115200 baud rate
- 8 data bits
- no parity
- 1 stop bit
- no flow control
For SSH connections, the default IP address of the device is 192.168.210.1 on the .

At the login prompt, enter the username and password of a user with Admin access:
```
login: admin
Password: **********
```
The default username is admin. The default unique password for your device is printed on the device label.
Depending on the device configuration, you may be presented with another menu, for example:
```
Access selection menu:

	a: Admin CLI
	1: Serial: port1        (9600,8,1,none,none)
	q: Quit

Select access or quit [admin] :
```
Type a or admin to access the EX12-PR command line.

You will now be connected to the Admin CLI:

Connecting now...
 Press Tab to autocomplete commands
 Press '?' for a list of commands and details
 Type 'help' for details on navigating the CLI
 Type 'exit' to disconnect from the Admin CLI
