Mount the Hub on a rack (AnywhereUSB Plus 8 and 24 only)

You can mount the AnywhereUSB 8 Plus and the AnywhereUSB 24 Plus on a rack using brackets attached to the Hub.

Before you begin

Refer to your rack manufacturer's rack installation guide to determine the type of screws required by your rack for secure installation, and then get the appropriate screws. Up to three screws can be used.

Note Screws to mount the device onto your rack are not included in the rack mounting kit.

Step 1: Attach the mounting brackets to the device

Note The mounting brackets are attached to the AnywhereUSB 24 Plus by default. You do not have to attach them unless they have been removed.

  1. Orient the device so that one side is facing you.

  2. Select a bracket. The device side of the bracket has two rows of 6 holes (12 holes total). Place this side of the bracket onto the device.

  3. Determine your bracket position. Only four of the holes are used to attach the bracket to the device, so you can adjust the bracket position. For the most secure installation, use four screws on each side of the device.

  4. Using four of the screws provided in the kit, attach the bracket to the device. Carefully tighten the screws so that the bracket is firmly attached to the device.

  5. Repeat the process to attach the other bracket on the other side of the device.

Step 2: Attach the bracketed device to the rack

  1. Place the device with the attached brackets on the rack. The oval holes on the rack side of the bracket should line up properly with your rack.

  2. Using screws recommended by your rack manufacturer, attach the rack side of the brackets to the rack. Carefully tighten the screws so that the device is firmly attached to your mounting rack.
