User roles in Digi Remote Manager
A user role represents a set of permissions or privileges assigned to a user based on their responsibilities or functions. This role dictates what a user can see or do within Digi Remote Manager.
Administrator role
The Administrator role is a user who can also add other users, change user passwords, set permissions, and enable single sign on.
User role
The User role is a user who has full read and write permissions, including adding or removing devices, and editing templates.
Read only user role
The Read only user role is a user who has full read permissions.
Application role
The Application role is a user who has full read and write permissions to the account via the Rest API. User has no read permission to the account via the web application.
Read only application role
The Read only application role is a user who has full read permissions to the account via the Rest API. User has no read permissions to the account via the web application.
Custom read only user role
The Custom read only user role is a user who has full read permissions to the account, with enhanced write permissions. This user can be granted Reboot permission.
Custom user role
The Custom user role is a user who has full read permissions to the account, with enhanced write permissions. This user can be granted limited Add Device, Remove Device, and Edit Configs permissions.
