The EX15 supports two types of data ports:
- Ethernet (RJ-45): Use a Cat 5e or Cat 6 Ethernet cable.
- Serial (RJ-45): Use a serial cable with an RJ45 connector to connect to the EX15 device. Allows direct connection to many switch and router console ports for out-of-band management. See Serial port pinout and use for pinout information.
