Command mode

Command mode is a state in which the firmware interprets incoming characters as commands. It is only available over the UART. Operate in API mode describes an alternate means for configuring devices that is available over the UART with Zigbee code.

You cannot use the SPI interface to enter Command mode unless using SPI for the serial interface.
