BR (RF Data Rate)
This command applies to the XBee/XBee-PRO SX RF Module.
Sets and reads the device's RF data rate (the rate at which the device transmits and receives RF data over-the-air).
Synchronous sleep is not supported when BR = 0. All devices on the network must have the same BR value set in order to communicate. BR directly affects the range of the device. The higher the RF data rate, the lower the receive sensitivity.
BR also affects the number of hopping patterns (HP) and the number of channels based on region as shown in the following table:
