Configure network failover on the XBee Gateway web interface
You can configure network failover in web interface.
- Access the web interface. You must log in to the web interface.
- From the XBee Gateway web interface, click Configuration > SureLink.
- Determine the network priority. By default, the Ethernet option should be the first option on the list. If it is not, follow the process below to move the Ethernet option to top priority.
- In the Network priority window, click on the Ethernet option.
- Click the up and down arrows next to the window to move the Ethernet option to the top of the list. The Mobile option automatically becomes the second option in the list.
- Select the When a link integrity test fails, switch to the lower priority network option to enable failover.
- Click on the Ethernet Link Integrity Monitoring section.
- Click the Enable option.
- From the test type options, select the test type that you want to use.

- Enter a primary test host name in the Primary Test Hostname field.
- Optionally, enter a secondary test host name in the Secondary Test Hostname field.
- Click Apply to save your changes.
