Configure outgoing PPP Connections

For outgoing connections, CHAP or PAP authentication, or password configuration, use the following procedure.

1. On the main Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) page, click Outgoing Connections.
2. Click New Connection. The Outgoing PPP Connection settings page is displayed. Enter the appropriate parameters. Note that CHAP authentication can be used to restrict PPP user access to outbound ports. When done, click Apply.

   

3. Click Reboot for changes to take effect.
