vpn
Purpose
Manages and displays the status of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) tunnel.
Required permissions
For Digi products with two or more users, permissions must be set to set permissions vpn=execute to use this command. See set permissions for details on setting user permissions for commands.
Syntax
vpn [{status|connect|disconnect}]
[index=1-2)]
[name=tunnel name]
Options
{status|connect|disconnect}
The action performed by the command. You must attempt a data connection before bringing up the VPN tunnel.
status
Display the status of the VPN tunnel.
connect
Enable the VPN tunnel.
disconnect
Disconnect the VPN tunnel.
index=1-2
Identifies the VPN tunnel.
name=tunnel name
The name of the tunnel.
Examples
Display VPN tunnel status

VPN Tunnel #2 Status : name : Tunnel 2 mode : disabled
Enable a VPN tunnel
This command enables use of the tunnel at index 1.
