kill

Purpose

Use the kill command to kill connections. The kill command is associated with the connections displayed by the who command.

Required permissions

For Digi products with two or more users, set permissions to set permissions display=execute to use this command. See set permissions for details on setting user permissions for commands.

Syntax

kill [range] [connection id]

Options

range

A range of connection IDs.

connection id

An ID for the connection.

Examples

Kill a connection on a specific port

#> kill 1F

Kill a connection on a range of ports

#> kill 1-3
